Today, people go that extra mile for their baby room or nursery room decor. Choosing a theme-based bunk bed, based on their favourite character or a quirky color is important for any girl or boys room inspiration.
A sturdy bunk bed can last longer, so it pays to invest in safety. For the upper berth, you may have guardrails installed so that the child doesn’t fall off the bed. You may decide to go with stairs or ladders based on the space available and your children’s safety. There are two-tier, three-tier variants and also trundle beds to choose from. You need to ensure that there is sufficient space between the clear ceiling height and the top of the bed, so that your kids don’t bump their heads.
There are 3 options when you are planning Designer Fans for a Kids room:
1. If there is a minimum 3 ft distance between the upper berth end and the end of the fan blades, and if the room ht is =/>9ft, then use a designer ceiling fan. The Fan size would depend upon the room size. This would cover 100% of the area where the kids play or study (below the fan) and around 70% of the upper bed, while they sleep. The air delivery for the lower berth, however gets compromised, so using a Bladeless Tower Fan on the floor definitely helps in ventilation for a good night’s sleep for the kids and no disturbance for the parents.
2. For compact rooms, if both kids are <10 years old, a Ceiling Drop Mounted Fan installed at the ceiling corner, can cover the top berth as it is a design with a ceiling fan cum wall fan. This is best for pitched ceilings and off centre mounting in a room. Along with this, a modern looking Bladeless Tower fan on the floor or a table fan can complete coverage for the kid sleeping on the bottom berth. Having 2 fans are a must for proper air circulation. Note that any ceiling fan above the bed will only cover the kid sleeping on top.
3. For older kids or teen rooms with bunk beds, a nice looking Pedestal or Floor Fan is the way to go. These are high air speed fans and the best option as they are placed on the floor which can be moved around.
