For Plain ceilings – There is no special fitment or installation required. We provide all the Rods & hardware inside the box. The Default height is 4-6” rod. Extra rod lengths can be fabricated, should it be required.

Luxaire Fans are the heaviest in the market, made of high-quality metal and real wood (in most cases) and many of them are remote-controlled fans with different rod thicknesses and hardware. If a wooden ceiling is made of MDF or thinner plywood – still this form of installation is required.

BLDC refers to Brushless Direct current Electric Fans. These convert AC to DC motor thereby enabling fans from Luxaire, to be energy-efficient. There are many options of BLDC motor Fans in the Designer & Luxury fan categories and they save 60-80% energy. The total consumption is between 8-30 watts only!

They are only remote controllable. In case of regulator/automation, you may bypass those functions. Motor warranty are for manufacturing defects only, it does not apply to burnt motors due to incorrect usage or electrical surges.

Most of our AC motor fans have 55-65 watts energy consumption (20% savings), similar or lesser than 5 star rated fans in India (with the added difference of Whisper quiet, Winter function & better Design). Along with the winter function, you can save another 10%. With Luxaire BLDC Fans, you can save up to 80% energy at the maximum.

There are different control options with AC motor fans. They can be controlled either through your step type (any brand) or its pull chord (if available), or any brand of Home automation. If you prefer, you can always upgrade to a remote control fan.

Fans with remote control can be fit at 20 degree angles & Fans without remote control can be fit at 30 degree angles. Whether it’s a Church Cornice, Vatican ceiling, Dome roof with special design, Luxaire Decorative fans can be fit easily. You may keep a minimum 8” gap from the blade tips to the slope/nearby wall, so that they don’t touch.

There are many blade types from Solid Wood, Plywood, Transparent Perspex, Acrylic, ABS, Canvas cloth, and even metal. Depending upon the Interior theme your designer has planned for you and the air delivery that is required, you may choose various Fan blades. Yes, we can provide longer rods for more than 10 ft ceiling height. However, for double-height or very long ceilings, we suggest that you look at our Pedestal Fans and Bladeless Tower Fan options (on the floor) instead.

Sure. We provide the remote-control kit, which comes with a remote and a driver/sensor that can be installed into the fan in the future when the need arises. We also keep spares for remote replacements, applicable within 1 year of purchase. After 1 year, you may purchase a new remote.

Yes, Color customization is possible for some models. Few models can also be customized in 36/42/52” dia. Do contact us with your specific details, whether it is for hotels, Restaurants, or apartment interior projects.

There are permanently sealed bearings and double lacquered surfaces which ensure a long-lasting Fan finish and practically, a maintenance-free product. Use only feather touch and soft lint-free cloth for dusting wooden and acrylic blade fans. Use a slightly damp cloth if the dust is too thick but ensure it stays dry. Any Cleaning with chemicals would spoil the wood, fade the color or scratch the body of these Designer fans. After cleaning fans, always ensure that the light caps are tightly fit to avoid future breakage.

The concept of a Dust-Free fan is a marketing gimmick as anything that moves will gather some dust – depending upon its usage, number of people who visit that space, and if there is enough air circulation. For e.g., a Coffeeshop or a Hotel lobby Fan will gather more dust than a Fan in an Airconditioned master bedroom. Regular cleaning ensures clean lungs, reduced skin allergies, and of course longevity of the product.
